Our client who is a manufacturer of animal pharmaceuticals has an open position for a VP of Regulatory Affairs. The incumbent will be responsible for strategic and regulatory management of the Company product development program and regulatory maintenance of approved veterinary pharmaceuticals with responsibility for the USA and Canada. The VP will be responsible for overall planning and directing the day-to-day regulatory activities of projects and will play an active role in corresponding with CVM.

Qualifications include a minimum of 10 years in animal health drug development with a working knowledge of all aspects of the drug development process including significant experience with CVM and GLP and GCP regulations and guidelines. The selected candidate should have an advanced degree in life sciences with at least 10 years in animal health drug development.

Veterinary Regional Account Managers – mulitple regions

Our client has an immediate need for a Veterinary Regional Account Manager in multiple regions to generate sales by calling on existing customers, sales leads and potential animal health or research opportunities in assigned region and to provide ongoing customer education and support. The incumbent will develop and maintain a complete understanding of our clients products and services. The incumbent will travel extensively during the day and overnight travel will be approximately 4-8 nights per month. The incumbent will generate new business and business leads and will provide ongoing customer support including supporting customers with product or technical calls.

Qualifications include Minimum of an Associates Degree (Bachelors Degree preferred) preferable with a science or business emphasis. Outside sales experience preferably selling to veterinarians. The (DDNSM) will be responsible for the sales of class 4 laser units, class 3 laser units, radial shockwave units, electrotherapy and ultrasound units. This position includes responsibility for the sales force and the distributors that will sell our clients products. The incumbent will organize and attend medical conferences and territory seminars where our clients products are to be marketed and sold. Efficacy Product Manager

The incumbent will manage the development and completion of efficacy studies required for regulatory approval of pharmaceutical products under development for our client in the US. This includes selection, oversight, management, monitoring and support of CROs including in-life animal facilities (GCP) as well as clinical investigators for GCP studies. This also includes preparing, managing and supporting regulatory submissions relating to efficacy studies. The Manager will have accountability of clinical development of pharmaceutical products and will elaborate development plans for effectiveness studies. The manager will support assessment, selection and management of CROs conducting effectiveness studies, including overview of questionnaires, agreements, meetings, site visits, protocol development, quotes and invoicing. The incumbent will write protocols and study reports related to efficacy and will review and support protocols and final study reports authored by CROs. The manager will act as liaison with our client to discuss issues related to development plans, protocols or study reports. The manager will maintain product shipment, labeling and inventory for clinical studies. The incumbent will write regulatory documents to be incorporated in the Effectiveness technical sections and will prepare regulatory submissions, including protocols, technical sections, responses to incomplete letters, end-review amendments and H submissions, related to Effectiveness (NADAs). The incumbent will ensure compliance of pivotal clinical studies with GCP and will support GCP compliance assessment and qualifications of CROs conducting clinical studies and will support CRO quality oversight for clinical studies.

Qualifications include a DVM, MS with a minimum of 5 years in clinical research or development and/or regulatory environment. 10% travel required.
